The Fourth Edition of Medicall was inaugurated by Mr. V.K. Subburaj, Secretary of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Tamilnadu, India. There were more than 250 Exhibitors from India and abroad. Proven Trade Contacts also participated in Medicall as an exhibitor. There were more than 5700 Visitors, including foreign delegates, beating all previous records. More than 5700 visitors prove that Medicall is the premier Medical Equipments Show in India.

Seminars organized during the Event were also well received by the visitors. Since many new hospitals and health cities are coming up in and around Chennai ‘the seminar on Hospital Construction’ was well attended. For the first time in India, a ‘Seminar on Patient Safety’ was organized. The experienced faculty shared their experience with the packed audience. ‘The CAP seminar’ organized along with Medicallab expo was attended by leading laboratory decision makers from the country. The international faculty Dr. Baptist and Dr. Mega Joshi, from United States, gave valuable inputs about the CAP accreditation process.
